The Perfect Wedding Venue in Tallahassee, Florida

If you’re planning your wedding in the Florida panhandle but do not want the beach, I have found the venue for you! Plus, it is a fraction of the cost of most venues.

Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park, Tallahassee, Florida

Lush flower gardens, massive live oak trees caressed with Spanish moss, antique brick pathways, reflection pond, expansive lake… the beautiful touches are endless. I visited in the late winter/early spring - February - and it was beautiful. I cannot wait to see it in late spring!

There is even a spot that looks like you are stepping right into the secret garden!

The best part is (well, your wallet will think so) it is about half the price of a traditional venue. Small ceremonies can cost less than $400, and even large ones can total up to be less than $1000.

Here’s the link to the state park’s event info. And do not forget to book me - Maranda Palmer Photography - for photos! Happy wedding planning!
