Outfit Guide
When you look back on your session, you want to see smiles, emotion, and love first and foremost. If you wear the wrong thing, the eye may first go to the outfit rather than the beautiful imagery and emotion. Let’s make sure you dress the best!
Neon, busy patterns, or large logos.
Tops that expose bras or bottoms that are transparent.
Outfits, especially dresses, with lots of frill that may catch in the wind.
Exact matching outfits - such as everyone wears the same Tshirt, everyone wears dark blue top with white bottom, or everyone wears all white.
Do not wear something that you are constantly tugging on, feel awkward in, or sits tight on you. We will be able to see the discomfort in our images.
Let’s talk about what to AVOID
I love, love, love pastels! They pair well with the tone of the beach.
Classic white and black has been a favorite of some of my clients.
Coordinate with like colors or shades. Example: Hubby wears khakis with dark blue button down while wife wears white dress with mild dark blue pattern.
Breathable clothing is always the number one choice for the beach.
Consider wearing your hair up (or at least bring a clip/tie) if the beach is windy on our session day.
Barefoot is best since we will be on the beach. If you are a lover of minimalist sandals, I cannot recommend Earth Runners enough! Use code “PALMER” for a discount at their checkout.
